Joanna trained at Tiffany Theatre College under a full scholarship and as a child performed extensively across the UK in theatre, television and on London's West End.
She has spoken on arts management and female entrepreneurship panels across the UK, presenting alongside industry leaders from ranging from Arts Council England to New York City Ballet.
Joanna is passionate about pioneering a new standard for the training of young dancers in the UK, and endeavours to maintain a relationship with each member of the company as it grows.
Matea has been a member of the team since 2013. Originally from Crotia she studied at The Urdang Academy. Matea's credits include work with Jason Gilkinson on Strictly Come Dancing (BBC), Brian Freidman on Britian's Got Talent (ITV), music videos for Mablel, Not3s and The Vamps, Move It (Olympia, London) and the Olympic Asian Beach Games (Oman). She has also toured Europe with Starnights and performed with Four Corners Dance Company led by Dean Lee.
Mollie trained at The BRIT School before going on to London Studio Centre, specialising in contemporary dance. She is currently part of Dylan Mayoral's company, Wonderkids, and was part of the National Youth Dance Company with guest artistic director Botis Seva, completing a UK tour ending at Sadler's Wells.
Her credits include: MADHEAD, Britain's Got Talent, Khronos Girls, Sink Ya Teeth Choreography & Performance, London Cabaret Club, Ticketmaster, Breakin' Convention, Open Arts Surgery, Home Turf.
Will trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts having been awarded a Dance and Drama Award at the age of 16, and has been a member of the One Youth Dance team since 2012.
His stage credits include: multiple pantomimes for Evolution Productions, Carnival Cruise Line USA, Mister Maker (CBBC) UK Tour, Camp Bestival, Dreamland Margate, Angry Birds Live Dubai, Looney Toons Festive Show Cairo, Mister Tumble UK Tour, Milkshake Live UK Tour. Screen credits: Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince Warner Bros, The One Show (BBC), This Morning (ITV), Eastenders (BBC), Tailspin (Universal), Michael McIntyres Big Show (BBC), Louie Spences Show Business (SKY). Choreographic credits include: Snow White at The Octagon Yeovil, Cinderella at The Alban Arena, Aladdin at The Alban Arena, 50 Year Gala at The Alban Arena, Casper Feddemah UK Tour.
Rhys trained at Colins Performing Arts and has been working with One Youth Dance since 2014. His professional credits include: Mister Maker and the Shapes Live! (UK Tour), Cindarella (The Ashcroft Theatre), Aladdin (The Marlowe Theatre), Feelgood Academy the Musical (Stratford Circus), Georgie in The Killing of Georgie (Drew McOnie), Jack and the Beanstalk (Cantebury), Dance Captain in Sleeping Beauty (Worthing) and dancer in Tank (Hofesh Schecter, Southank Centre).
Amy graduated from the London School of Contemporary Dance in 2018 with a master's degree in choreography, following her formal training at the University of Chichester. Since completing her formal dance training Amy has worked both nationally and internationally as a freelance dance artist and arts administrator.
Irena moved to London and joined the team in 2016. She is a member of the UK’s street dance company Boy Blue Entertainment, with whom she has performed at the Breaking Convention and was a part of Project REBEL at Edinburgh International Festival 2017. Some of her other credits also include EE broadband Commercial, performance on the BBC’s The Greatest Dancer with Anne-Marie and Boy Blue, Dancing With The Stars (Croatia), music video “Ronim na dah” by Damir Kedzo (Croatia). Off the stage, Irena teaches street and contemporary dance at Highgate school.
Nadia trained at Phoenix Starr College, the UK’s first hip hop college and trained in a variety or styles. She went on to teach at the academy which involved creating show and competition pieces. Credits include TJMaxx 2019 Christmas Advert and London Lions 2019 halftime performance. She has also taken part in Hip Hop Unite Dance Competition where she has placed 1st as a dancer and a choreographer.
Elisa is originally from Italy and trained at Bird College and in LA. She has been a member of the One Youth Dance team since 2019 and is a very passionate dancer and teacher. Some of Elisa's professional credits include: dancing for P!NK (Brit Awards 2019), Mr Eazi, Kanika Kapoor, Raftaar, Jordan, Ashley Stephanie, Breaking Convention, World of Dance (London & Los Angeles) and more.
Alisha trained at the North London Dance Studio graduating in 2014. She has since worked across the UK and internationally in the US, Holland, Denmark, Spain, Greece and Portugal.
Her credits include work for Stormzy, Burna Boy, BRIT Awards 2020, Wizkid concert at O2 Arena, Not3s, Maleek Berry, Dbanj, Jidenna, Unknown T, Boy George, Mr Eazi, Riton & Kah-Lo, Eugy Official, London Fashion Week, Afro Nation Festival, One Africa festival (Wembley Arena), Reading and Leeds Festival, Scholl, Google, Spotify, BBC, ITV, BT Sports, Netflix and the National History Museum.
